Trichology is a field on the border of medicine, cosmetology and hairdressing, which deals with all disorders of the scalp and hair. The most common abnormalities include: hypersensitivity, itching and alopecia of various origins, bacterial, fungal and parasitic infections, dryness, excessive sweating, seborrhea, psoriasis, structural disorders of hair shafts, as well as mechanical and chemical damage. These disorders occur regardless of age and have a complex nature and causality.
